Sunthon Ahan Thai, located towards the end of the See Chai Thong road, roughly 50 meters before See Chai Thong meets with Chaengwattana road, serves beautifully crafted Thai food, along with drinks and groceries. From 6 in the morning, to 9 in the evening, Khun Nong and Chef Nok serve a wide array of Thai food, notably the Chicken Cashew, Tom Yum fish, Tom Yum prawn, fried rice, and their number one best seller; mango with sticky rice. Khun Nong opened the restaurant when she was 16 years old and is now 55. The restaurant has been running strong for 40 years, even making it onto Channel 9 News! Covid 19 has brought difficulties for Sunthon Ahan Thai, just as any other restaurant, but through the use of programmes such as Grab and FoodPanda, Sunthon Ahan Thai was able to continue selling food to customers. Upholding a restaurant with amazing food, atmosphere, and people for 40 years can’t be easy, but Sunthon Ahan Thai has done so in the most perfect of ways.
